Prices
Basically,
price is based on materials, labor and overhead.
I
have a large stock of lumber bought
from Appalachian saw mills at wholesale prices. My shop is on
our property and the tools have long ago been paid for.
My
labor rate is about half that of the "high end" furniture
makers. The resulting price is about the same as high quality,
factory
made furniture. However, my furniture is not available at any
price from the top furniture stores.
