Welcome to my website! The photo at the right is a butternut Pie Safe I've built patterned after one we currently have in our home. It is for sale at The Gallery at Seven Oaks in Warm Springs. It would make a wonderful addition to anyone's country kitchen or dining room.

I am a maker of custom furniture, mainly in the traditional style. However, sometimes a piece of wood turns up that needs special treatment and becomes a slab table or something as simple as a cutting or bread board. Other projects have been chests, benches, various styles of boxes, cabinets and historic reproductions.

I build some pieces to sell in the future and now and then an item for our home. All of the projects I build are because I really want to make them. Enthusiasm does make a difference in the final result.

My woodworking philosophy is that I want my furniture to be useful above all. Every piece shuld be functional so the owners will use it in their everyday life.

*At present I am not taking on any special projects as we are moving to West Virginia and I have to get my new workshop set up there.
